Weekly English, Spanish and Portuguese tours available during July and August 2026.

Come for a guided tour about the migration and immigrant experiences in Salem led by trained Salem State University students, faculty and members of the Salem community. The past 100 years have seen a dramatic change in who we are as a community, and part of those changes have been driven by newcomers arriving and being welcomed in our community, a well as key figures in the Point Neighborhood. Watch and listen to oral histories of Salem’s migrants.

This display and tours are part of Salem State University’s Mapping a Century of Salem, 1926-2026 exhibit. Students docents are supported by the Discovery Scholars initiative at Salem State University. The migration exhibit was co-desigend and co-sponsored by the Latino Leadership Coalition of Salem.
